I grew up in Fargo, North Dakota, and enjoyed spending time at my Aunt's cattle farm in Minnesota as well as at my parents MN lake home. My retired Army husband, Tim, and I have lived in Europe as well as in North Dakota, Minnesota, Louisiana, Georgia, and Virginia. 

Tim is now a swimming pool designer with Anthony & Sylvan Pools in Fredericksburg, VA (www.WhereVirginiaSwims.com) .  We consider Virginia to be our home and currently reside near Ashland in rural Hanover County along with my lovable but slightly psycho Scottish Fold cat, Jerky Boy.  We have four adult children and 10 grandchildren who love spending time at Grandma's house in the swimming pool. 

Two of my kids live in the area.  My daughter Nikki along with her husband Josh and son Trevor reside in Maryland.  Nikki raises Neapolitan Mastiff dogs (see them at www.AgrippinaMastio.com) and works part-time for an insurance services company while Josh is a mortgage broker.  My son Casey and his wife Colleen live near Amissville, VA.  Casey is a police sergeant in northern Virginia while Colleen is a graphic designer and stay-at-home mom to my grandsons Timmy and Ryne.

I recently joined forces with Rick Stockel at Prudential Slater James River Realtors in Richmond.  I have been a licensed real estate agent since 2003, and have been working as a self-employed consultant in real estate marketing.  I have a varied background having worked for Department of Army Criminal Investigation Division running a large word processing center, as a technical writer for the U.S. State Department, as a self-employed medical transcriptionist for 16 years, as a facilities manager for a dot-com in Atlanta, and in real estate marketing since 2001.

I have expertise in brochure & flyer design, website design, and real estate photography including virtual tours.  My extensive computer technology and Internet background is ideally suited to real estate and marketing of properties.  With my military family background, I have personally made many long distance moves and understands the special challenges involved.

I also have a keen interest in interior design and decorating.  I am an Accredited Home Staging Specialist and can help advise you on staging your home to sell it for top dollar!  My many hobbies include gardening, swimming, reading, sewing, needlework, cooking, baking, and travel.
